Are you ready for even more adventure?! Let’s go rafting on the Alas river and be ready to get wet! We will drop you off at the startpoint of the rafting route, provide you with all the equipment and a guide. This will be so much fun!

Village tour: Discover traditional Ketambe!

Discover the true Ketambe village life in this extraordinary village tour! We will visit a native bee farm where you can try some jungle honey, we will talk with the locals and you will experience the authentic village life. We will relax by the banks of the Alas river at the Elephant Horn café, after some drinks and snacks it is time for our next activity. We will collect locally produced ingrediënts and prepare a meal with a local family! In this cooking class we will truly embrace the local cultural practices and you will learn the secrets of Indonesian cooking. After enjoying the meal with the family you can decorate your free time as you want, with the possibility of an afternoon motorbike tour to a waterfall!

Local cooking class: Learn traditional Indonesian cooking!

There is also the possibility to just do the cooking class as an afternoon activity. We will meet up with a Ketambe family that provides the cooking class. First we will collect locally produced ingrediënts and then we will prepare a meal with the family! In this cooking class you will discover how the traditional cooking style in the village of Ketambe looks like! Afterwards we will enjoy the meal with the family, feeling one with the local community.
