How to get to Ketambe ?

Airport pick up to / from, Ketambe- Medan:
Personal pickup from Airport in Medan transport by private car with air-conditioning to Ketambe.
Cost; 1.200.00 IDR per car/ (6-7 hours)

From Medan city to Ketambe:
Transport by private car with air-conditioning.
Cost: 1,000 .000 IDR per car/ take about ( 7 to 8 hours )

Before you leave Medan city to drop you off at your homestay in Ketambe, we stop at the ATM to make sure you have enough money in cash. Because there will be no ATM in Ketambe.

Ketambe to Berastagi:
Transport by private car with air-conditioning from Ketambe to Berastagi.
Cost : 900,000 IDR per car/ take about 4 to 5 hours.

Ketambe to Lake Toba:
Transport by private car with air-conditioning from Ketambe to lake Toba Parapat or Samosir islad.
Cost : 1,500.000 IDR per car/ take about 8 hours.

Public bus or share taxi:
Just go to Padang Bulan Medan City. There you can go directly to the share taxi company that’s named RAJA RATU travel. Cost: 300,000 IDR, per sit with air-conditioning/take about 8 hours. In the morning leave the bus will leave at 10.am. and at Night time at 10.pm.

Banda Aceh to Ketambe:
Just go to Lungbata station in Banda Aceh City, from here you can take the bus to Ketambe. The name of the company is Simpati Star. The bus departs at 09.00 p.m. Costs: 330,000 IDR. The bus will take around 14 hours.
